1. Answer Every Prompt Clearly

• You’ll have 4 prompts to respond to and 1 question to ask.
• Always include at least one verb in each response.
• Keep your answers clear and correct — you don’t need to speak for long.

2. Use the Right Tense

• Look out for clues:

  → “Say what you did last week” = past tense

  → “Say what you prefer” = present tense

• Revise key verbs in present, past, and future to feel confident.

3. Ask a Proper Question

• One bullet point will ask you to ask a question.
• Use proper question starters:
  • Tu aimes… ?
  • Qu’est-ce que tu fais… ?
  • Quand / Où / Pourquoi… ?

4. Prepare with a Planning Table

• Write short, full-sentence answers in advance.
• Identify the tense and key vocabulary you want to include.
• Practise out loud so it feels natural.

5. Keep Calm — Rephrase if Needed
